Broccoli and Bell pepper stir-fry in Indo-Chinese style

  1. Fresh broccoli (cut into big pieces)
  2. 1 green bell pepper (cut into long strips)
  3. 1 red tomato (finely chopped)
  4. 1 medium size onion (chopped)
  5. 3-4 cloves gerlic (chopped)
  6. Half inches ginger (finely chopped)
  7. 2 spicy raw red chili chopped (as it's a spicy prep.)
  8. 1 or 2 dried red chili
  9. Half tea spoon whole cumin seed
  10. Vegetable oil to cook
  11. Salt and sugar according to taste
  12. Little bit turmeric powder
  13. Tomato sauce, hot red chili sauce (1 spoonful each), half tea spoon dark soy sauce and 1or 2 spoon water(mix in a bowl)
  14. pinch of ajinomoto
  1. Hit oil in a wok. Fry broccoli pieces in a medium flame.Don't fry too much and keep them aside.
  2. In rest of oil add dried red chili and whole cumin seed. Let it crackle.
  3. Add chopped gerlic,onion and ginger and saute for a while. Add salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Add bell pepper and tomato and saute for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add the mixture of sauces and half teaspoon sugar and ajinomoto.
  6. When it comes to a boil add the fried broccoli pieces. Stir for another few minutes on high flame.Lastly add chopped fresh red chili.
  7. Serve it hot.
